The start...
It was the Heathrow airport after a gruelling 9 hr journey from Abu Dhabi.
Aman came by and we went off towards South Ealing.
The London Underground does remind me of the Mumbai Local Trains, except for the crowd. Things appear so clean and so natural. It is probably an apparent observation. Ask the local crowd and you could uncover some harsh truths of London.
There was a musician at the London Underground and I was amazed, not by the skills, which by the way were simply awesome, but by the conspicious absence of a motive. She could get money, but how much could she get?
The people out here are in a way indescribable. They have so many backgrounds and diversity, that it is difficult to just see them through a common eye. I will probably never see the world in a much more diverse way. The college is a good mix of traditional (in terms of architecture) and modernity (in terms of amenities). The professors are the coolest. Most of them just can't stop blabbering, even when u have said "bye!".
My professor, too, is from Ealing, although from North Ealing. He takes the tube from Ealing to Earl's Court and then walks all the way to campus. This probably shows that even the best of guys out here have problems.
STAR WARS premiere was fantastic. The stars were all there. Right from Yoda to Anakin! and what followed was a once in a lifetime scenario. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was live and inspiring. This was at Leciester Square, but without the pigeons.
I have plans to make plans tonite. Tomorrow will be the day I shift into the new place. This place is just beautiful!! Thats all I can say!
The Royal School of Music and The Royal Albert Hall shall soon find a visitor calling again. Coz, I have to see the concertos.
There will be things to tell and describe when I write in next!
Cheers = Thanks in London!, weird city!

Neat idea to set up a separate blog on the UK experience.
Wonder if you've found time to checkout the graffiti on the walls. That's the best part of the train journeys to towns around London !
thanks!...
not been in an english train...coz..it costs double the price as compared to an english bus.
but, yeah, definitely the journey has always been worthwhile as compared to the destination.
:-D
