Bang in the centre!!

This weekend...

I was all around central london...from south kensington to tottenham court to liverpool street to the london bridge to the tower hill...

just went around all the places I could go in 2 days...the trip was to mainly get to know the city better and how it works...although I ended up going to 4 musuems...:-??

At Tottenham Court Road, there is this theatre which is screening the Theatrical show "We will Rock you" and had this amazing statuette of Freddie Mercury. I plan to go there soon. Dominion Theatre here I come!!

Liverpool Street can be said to be the financial district of london. Amazing buildings and all are against the backdrop of some ancient structure.

Well, actually being at the Tower Bridge was like a childhood dream come true. Well, it was actually. I had seen this picture for like a million times and I just wanted to be there. and there I was!! The walk along River Thames was beautiful with zillions of Indians.

Also, went to a weird museum of collectibles from ancient england and after that I was on my way to the Spitalfields market, when an interesting incident occured.

Well, i was busy staring at a map just to make sure that I was on the right path, when this person (read:man) comes across and asks whether I am ok. I asked him for directions to the market and he pointed out. He then came along with me just to make sure that I would take the right turn. and then it began.....

He asked me about my background and so did I. He, then started blabbering about this new religious order of which he was a member and started explaining its advantages and other such crazy stuff. and then he remarked, "I am gay and I hope that doesn't bother you".

I answered pretty much in a puzzled manner , "No...not at all"...

He, then started, asking me about my beliefs and why I wanted to get married and have a baby!!!
He then went on to talk about his parents and then mine and then basically all parents...
He remarked pretty frankly after that, "I would like to have a cup of coffee with you...just around this corner"...

I again looked extremely puzzled....and retorted, "No...I need to get to this market"
As sure as hell I knew why I wanted to get to that market.

Btw..this guy was tamil, an ex-buddhist and Malaysian....all of 37 years of age...
His final aim is to become a sanyasi and he is gay becouse this allows him to enjoy sex without any sort of consummation and does not come in the way of his becoming a sage!!

I actually looked back at him..wondering he had any motive behind me....

The city is wonderful....extremely vibrant
If I had the money, I wouldn't mind staying here at all...
:-DD
